Indian Cricketer Surpasses James Franklin’s Record
Karun Nair achieved a historic feat on Friday, breaking the world record for most List A runs without being dismissed. In a dominant display for Vidarbha against Uttar Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Nair surpassed James Franklin’s 2010 record of 527 runs. He scored 542 runs before being dismissed for 112, setting a new world record. This remarkable achievement places him among cricketing greats like Joshua van Heerden, Fakhar Zaman, and Taufeeq Umar, who have also achieved significant milestones in List A cricket.
Karun Nair, after setting a new List A record, currently leads the Vijay Hazare Trophy run-scorers chart with an impressive 542 runs. Former Karnataka teammate Mayank Agarwal trails closely with 497 runs from six matches.
